IFZA company setup in Dubai
The International Free Zone Authority (IFZA) is a Dubai free zone widely used by consultants, traders, agencies and tech founders. We help you choose activities and a package, and support you through the application.
Who IFZA suits
- Consultants, agencies and professional service firms
- General and specialised trading businesses
- Tech, e-commerce and media start-ups
- Founders who want to set up remotely and visit only for visas and banking
Points to check before you apply
- Pick activities that match what you actually do — banks compare your licence with your real business
- Choose the visa allocation you need now, with room to grow
- Plan Corporate Tax early: 0% is possible only on qualifying income if you meet the Qualifying Free Zone Person conditions
- Keep the licence, establishment card and visas renewed on the same cycle
How we help
We start with a short online meeting about your activities, clients, visas and banking. If IFZA is the right fit, we prepare and submit the application, follow up on approvals, the establishment card and visas, prepare your bank account file and help with Corporate Tax registration. If another zone looks like a better fit, we'll tell you. Approvals are always decided by the free zone and government authorities.
Free zone rules, packages and fees change. We confirm the current requirements and send a written, itemised quote before you commit.

Frequently asked questions
Can I set up an IFZA company without visiting Dubai?
Yes. The licence application and company documents can be completed remotely with e-signatures. You'll need to come to the UAE for the residence visa medical and Emirates ID biometrics, and usually for the bank meeting.
Can I combine trading and consulting on one IFZA licence?
In many cases yes — IFZA allows professional and commercial activities to be combined on one licence, subject to the activity rules. We check your exact list before applying.
Does an IFZA company need a physical office?
No. A flexi-desk is normally included and meets the address requirement. You can move to a dedicated office later if you need more visas or space.
Can an IFZA company work with Dubai mainland clients?
Services to mainland businesses are often possible from the free zone. For wider mainland activity, Dubai now offers free zone companies a mainland permit or branch licence through DET, subject to approval.
Is IFZA right for you?
Book a short online meeting. We'll compare IFZA with one or two alternatives for your activity and send a written quote for the option that looks most suitable.
